Body, function and technique analyses
Aktivitus conducts expert analyses to map your physical status and potential, from basic strength and movement tests to advanced physiological measurements. We help you optimize your training with scientifically proven methods.
Analysis of your mobility, strength and stability + personalized strength and mobility program.
This test measures your body composition via ultrasound. You'll find out your body fat percentage, BMI, BMR (basal metabolic rate), and where on your body your fat is located. Belly fat is worse than having fat stored on your butt or thighs from a health perspective.
This blood test primarily rules out iron deficiency, which in turn can negatively affect oxygen uptake.
HB Analysis + Glucose Test + Blood Fat Test. A complete and good package to get a good and clear picture.
Good running technique gives you good running economy, i.e. the ability to expend little energy at a given speed. This is very crucial for how fast you can run and how long you can run.
Combining function and running technique analysis where we get to the bottom of why you run the way you do. Measuring strength and mobility and then applying it to your running technique provides the most comprehensive analysis of your running!
Analysis of skiing technique when staking and diagonal skiing. What is your position and center of gravity, what does your insertion look like, how do you work with different gears.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a strength and mobility analysis?
This is a comprehensive screening where we map your muscular strengths, weaknesses and imbalances and identify limitations in your mobility. The analysis helps you develop a more balanced and functional body and prevent injuries.
How is a body composition analysis done?
We use advanced measuring equipment to determine your muscle mass, fat percentage, fluid status and metabolic age. The test is quick, painless and provides immediate information about your body composition.
What is measured in an HB test?
The Hb test measures the amount of hemoglobin in your blood, which is crucial for your body's ability to transport oxygen. Low Hb values can negatively affect your endurance and performance.
What information do I get from a blood test?
Our blood analysis provides insight into important markers such as iron status, inflammation markers, hormone levels and metabolic parameters. These provide a deeper understanding of your health and recovery ability.
What do you look for in a running technique analysis?
We analyze your running stride from multiple angles, including foot strike, leg alignment, posture, arm movement, and landing patterns. The analysis identifies inefficient movement patterns that can limit your running performance or increase your risk of injury.
How does functional and running technique analysis differ from regular running technique analysis?
This combination provides a more comprehensive picture by analyzing both your running technique and the functional characteristics that influence it, such as core stability, hip mobility, and leg strength. We connect technical deficiencies with concrete physical limitations.
What does a ski technique analysis include?
We review your technique in both classic and freestyle, including pole take, leg kick, weight transfer, timing and positioning. The analysis will help you become more energy efficient on skis.
Who performs the analyses?
All our analyses are performed by trained specialists with a background in sports physiology, biomechanics or equivalent. Many have competed at the elite level themselves and have a deep understanding of the demands of different sports.
How long does an analysis take?
Most analyses take 45-90 minutes depending on the type and scope. Body composition analysis and HB tests are the fastest (15-30 minutes), while technical analyses often take longer to be thorough.
What do I get after the analysis?
After each analysis, you will receive a detailed report with your results, comparison values, identified strengths and areas for improvement, as well as specific recommendations for training. We also review the results in person.
Do I need to prepare for an analysis?
For body composition and blood tests, we recommend that you come fasting or 3-4 hours after your last meal. For technical tests, it is a good idea to be warmed up and bring appropriate equipment. We will provide specific instructions when booking.
