The Story
How it all began
In a prepared bedroom in their private apartment in Kålltorp, Gothenburg, Mattias and Sara welcomed their first customer in 2004. The idea was born when the two elite mountain bikers helped one of their sponsors (Nordnet) get started with fitness and health.
At the same time, Mattias and Sara went to Germany to get help measuring their physique with medical precision and adjusting their training with the Beijing Olympics as their goal.
From one clinic to several
This all together gave birth to a vision of helping the exerciser to create the optimal training program based on individual conditions. In 2006, Aktivitus moved to the GLTK tennis facility in Örgryte and in 2014 moved to Kviberg where we are today.
In 2014, Aktivitus opened its second test clinic, which is now located in Frösundavik. In January 2019, we opened our third clinic, this time in Västra Hamnen in Malmö, and our fourth on Regeringsgatan in Stockholm. In 2021, we opened a fifth clinic in Linköping and our sixth clinic at Lugnet in Falun.
How we work with health and performance
Today, Aktivitus works with training optimization for recreational and competitive athletes, but also with extensive wellness projects at companies across the country and is a leader in physiological testing in Sweden.
